I did talk with Ralphie and he indicated his current health status regarding various tests, etc. We'll STILL keep our fingers crossed that all works out and he is able to get on that train to ABQ. Meanwhile, we're keeping Ralphie in our thoughts and prayers.

Hi Marie Ralphie is not on the internet. I spoke to him last night. He mentioned to me that he sent you the items, being he will not attend the reunion. HE is going thru some tests today. His doctor advised him to stay home for the time being. I will call him tonight to know how he made out With good results may still attend the reunion. Keeping my fingers crossed the test were good Will let you all know tonight LOVE VIC

Dear USS Belle Grove family -- It saddens me to report that your shipmate, Trent Thompson, passed away last night in Brownwood, Texas. The plans for services are to have visitation at the Davis-Morris Funeral Home at 800 Center Avenue in Brownwood from 5 to 7 on Sunday, May 2. The funeral will be at 2 PM on Monday at Davis-Morris with burial following at Greenleaf Cemetary. Cards and notes can be mailed to my Mom, Rosemary Thompson, at 204 Center Drive at Lake Brownwood, TX 76801. Your calls, e-mails and concern has been deeply appreciated! Thank you, Barbara

Hi, I served aboard the Belle Grove from Dec 64 through November 67. One of my favorite people was the late Capt. Gary House and his wife Cheryl with whom I spent many happy times south of the border.
